On Saturday July 23 British singing sensation Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London flat – the soulful songwriter was just few months shy of her 28th birthday.
The Rehab singer who gave us two albums before drowning her pain, sorrow and fame into drugs and alcohol apparently died of an overdose of drugs but mainly alcohol according to British tabloids.
While she might not have been aware of it Amy Winehouse had millions of fans including celebs who appreciated her unique voice, dark lyrics and that 50′s touch she brought to all that she did – from her music, to her look and sadly her rock star life and death.
Hundreds of celebrities upon hearing the shocking yet not surprising news spoke about the passing of Amy Winehouse.

Amy Winehouse’s last performance took place earlier this week at the iTunes festival where she refused to sing but took the stage to encourage people to buy and support her granddaughter Dionne Bromfield’s new CD Good For The Soul.
