R. Kelly ‘Shut Up!’

If you have nothing good to say about R. Kelly and his music, well he has some news for you “Shut Up!”
This is the title of a new song that he debuted on his official Twitter page early on Thursday.
The track was widely praised by music critics for its honesty and the minimalistic production that it uses.
In “Shut Up!” the king of R&B tells his numerous haters that he still has it and his music can be magic again.
Kelly also uses the opportunity to remind doubters that his music helped create a lot of babies worldwide and people should stop comparing him to other artists, he is too far ahead of the competition.
Hating on haters has been a recurring theme in R. Kelly’s career even when he was on top of every charts you can think of and people were buying his CDs like hot bread.
On his 1998 “R.” album he had a song called “V.I.P.” talking about how the haters were after him.
In 2007, with the intro to his platinum-selling “Double Up” album “The Champ” featuring Swizz Beatz, he also took head on those who were trying to stop him from moving forward.
Listen to the “Fiesta” singer share what is on his mind below.
