Billboard Music Awards 2011 Performances Video & Review

Last night the 2011 Billboard Music Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena which is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The soiree was very entertaining thanks to the army of stars that came out to perform or to simply attend the event and pick up their trophies in person.

The 2011 Billboard Music Awards made us realize that Beyonce is an entertaining machine that never quits thanks to her brilliantly choreographed piece and pushed us to the conclusion that Britney Spears who we believe is a pop icon is now a ballad singer who can barely move on stage.

Here is a brief review of all of the performances:

Rihanna S&M Remix featuring Britney Spears

While the costumes were entertaining we remain clueless as to why Rihanna was unable to move and dance around. And we were disappointed by Spears’ lack of performance.

Black Eyed Peas – Medley

It was a bit confusing and we have to ask why was Fergie wearing those heels that made her stiff like a rock on stage.

Keith Urban -Long Hot Summer

A very smooth piece that was borderline boring.

Beyonce – Who Run the World

The song is still terrible but the lights, the imagery, the rumored Illuminati symbols were simply brilliant. She owned the night.

Lady Antebellum – Just A Kiss

Breathless – that is all.

Taio Cruz – Dynamite & Break Your Heart

Very entertaining performance full of energy and drive.

Mary J. Blige Feat Lil Wayne -Someone to Love Me

The queen of Hip Hop Soul brought swagger to the event and we loved it.

Nicki Minaj & Britney Spears – Superbass/ Till The World Ends Remix

Nicki was cute on stage with her lit up dress and was able to keep the choreography PG 13 but as for Britney it was the shortest performance of the night and on top on that she was lip synching.

Justin Bieber Kisses Selena Gomez at Billboard Music Awards

And this was the cutest moment of the night. Young lovers, isn’t it beautiful?
