42-year-old singer and performer Jennifer Lopez received a standing ovation at the 2011 American Music Awards thanks to a daring performance that included three costume changes, lots of shirtless male dancers, the presence of rapper Pitbull and a car – yes the diva was driving a FIAT on stage.

The newly divorced mother of two took the stage in a long print dress singing a soft ballad and pretending to cry before removing the gown to show off her tone body in a bedazzled bodysuit.

Jennifer Lopez then attacked “Papi” and reenacted the dancing scene from the clip – which is where the FIAT came into play and concluded her impressive medley with “On the Floor” featuring Pitbull.
